It is located exactly 12 km, (28.5 miles) off the coast of Spain. It takes 45 minutes from Spain to Africa on a ferry. Yet, for years we continue to live in our own little bubble in Europe, or what is even worse - shunning our African neighbours. How did we end up this way?

Privacy is a growing concern in today's world and Facebook's young CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be the first one to find that out, as his daring ploy to include Facebook in virtually every corner of the Internet may come back to "book him right in the face."

About 80% of my students don't know how to use a full-stop. A full-stop is the small black dot that you put at the end of a sentence. The North Americans call it a ‘period'.

Every English man secretly wants to be James bond just as every English woman wants to be Princess Diana. Behind every hooligan and pale skinned English tourist is the gentleman-killer who always says the right thing at the right moment. Two weekly letters every week!

Apart from a General weekly we also publish a beginners and business weekly.

We have 471 articles for you.

What is weeklyletter.com?

Weeklyletter.com is a weekly blog for students of English. We are a team of highly experienced teachers who publish a text with a specific theme - often about current affairs - every week. You can read the article and even listen to it: the teacher may have something to say that is not on the article!

If you're not sure about a word or expression - or you simply want to share your opinion - you can add a comment. The teachers regularly read the comments and reply to them. So it is very likely that you will receive help with your doubts - even, perhaps, from another student.
