It's 5.47pm where we're going…10.47pm where we've come from. The plane's higher than Everest, and oustide the temperature's at minus fifty…

Alf & Deidrie fell in teenage love. “Love is blind so they say, and Alf & Deidrie certainly couldn't have seen what was coming. They also say that love makes the world go around. Whether it was love or lust that they fell into, the world was certainly changing…

Think of “old clothes, and what do you think of ?
I've recently been looking at old photos and have noticed the clothes I used to wear. I knew that I was never fashionable...but I had forgotten how unfashionable I was!

Últimamente he estado echando un vistazo a fotos

Monday. Late for work. In the office, in a hurry.
The phone hasn't stopped r-i-n-g-ing. The mobile goes off too. A cold caller. The number of e-mails to read is big. Uncomfortably big! Bigger than Señora Beckham's shopping list, and agh!...the monthly project meeting has been changed from Friday to Tuesday. Now it won't be possible to send in those restaurant receipts to the accounts department.
And the coffee machine still hasn't been repaired!

Lunes.

Uru lived on a volcanic island in the middle of a vast ocean…in a village surrounded by soft, undulating hills. From Uru's house, it was possible to see the colours of the different trees & flowers that covered much of the island, like a magic blanket.

Fancy a pint in The Red Lion? How about in The Elephant and Castle? There are around 60,000 public houses, or pubs, in the United Kingdom. Very often they have traditional names, which can seem very unusual. How about The Fox and Hounds or The Queen's Head?

What makes you laugh? Not everyone in Britain enjoys (or understands!) Monty Python or Mr Bean. I'm sure that not everyone in the USA is a big fan of Married with Children or Frasier. What about the Spanish? What gets you laughing?

The first society I joined at university would teach me how to endlessly throw and catch things: the juggling society.

From The Island of the Sun, you can see the Andes mountains that skirt La Paz on their way up and down South America.

Big Brother is a reality in Britain. They know where you are. They know what you're doing. They know what you're looking at on the Internet. And that's just your employer…

Finally Christmas has ended! Well, in Britain anyway. Please don't misunderstand me - I love Christmas, but I'm always happy when it's over. You see, in Britain, it all starts far too early...

The train stopped, the door opened, I got off… and there he was, waiting for the next one…

White-sand beaches, mountains and majestic music. Three things that not many people probably associate with Britain. In this article I'd like to introduce you to a country that's often overlooked when we talk about Britain. In their own language, Cymru. In English, Wales.
