Madeleine McCann, 4 years old, has not been seen since. Police think she is still alive. Possibly the victim of a paedophile ring.
*She could be in Spain. *
She would be very easy to recognise as her right eye has a distinctive feature. Her pupil seems to run into the iris. That is something that cannot be changed.

It seems the kidnapper may have entered through a window of the apartment that looked onto a very quiet street. This window was not visible from where the parents were dining. The parents are, as you can imagine, distraught.
You can download posters in different languages at the website that has been set up to help find the child.
The McCann’s are from Glasgow, Scotland. A message from the McCanns thanking people for their support has been read out at a service at St Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cathedral in Glasgow. Madeleine’s uncle, John McCann, said the family is grateful for the “outpouring of solidarity.”
“Please continue to drive support around Europe, get people to access information,” their message said.
“We remain confident that Madeleine will be found soon and your prayers and efforts will bring this about.”
This could have happened to any of us who have children. It’s not too late. The worst thing that could happen at this point is that we forget about Madeleine.
Keep your eyes open.

Hi,
These situations are so terrible, I can’t imagine the affliction of her parents,
There is another case in Spain, a few months ago a little boy was kidnapped in the Canary Islands, and he hasn’t been found yet.
I hope the best for both families and, obviously for the children
Bye.
Her parents must be going through hell. You mention the case of Yeremi. My colleague Miren is drawing attention to his plight over on the Spanish Weekly Letter
I think it’s a terrible situation for the parents. I can’t imagine the desperation of this family.
I don’t understand why people do this kind of things?
She is only a little girl who was enjoying the time with her family. it’s terrrible!!!
I only ask people not to forget her. It’s very important to keep Madeleine and Jeremy (and other people who has been kidnapped) in our minds, maybe we can see something important.
At this moment I want send to these parents my support.
Don’t give up hope!.
Yes Dónal, his name is Yeremi … I don’t really know how can be people like that … they must be in prision all their life, as well as people who pay them …
and it’s really true Monica, we can’t forget them, we must keep in mind that there are people in the world able to do something like that ...
Madeleine’s parents are in Madrid today (Friday 1 June).
I remember how I once lost my four-year-old brother in the midst of a crowd during Semana Grande in San Sebastian. It was a horrible sense of fear, like a pillar of negative energy between the heart and the mouth.
Some minutes later, I found him crying. A group of American backpackers were trying to console him, asking him in broken Spanish if he was lost. I picked him up and took him home, and didn’t let go.
Hi Dónal.
The case of Madeleine is terrible, I don’t understand people that do these things. The parents mustn’t lose the hope, but each day that pass it must be worst. The only thing that I can do is to pray for the parents can find her alive. If she is still alive I hope she isn’t suffering, and if she isn’t I hope her parents can find her as soon as possible.
The parents are visiting different countries like Spain, and also they have visited the Pope. They are fitting and doing all they can, and this must comfort them.
It is important than everyone can identify the little girl: you can find her around the corner.
Thanks for your letter.
