
Social networks are online communities. People who share the same interests can keep in contact even if they are physically very separated. You can upload photos, videos and audio files and you can even challenge other friends to take online quizzes.
Some people think that using Facebook is unhealthy. “Why don’t you go out and make some real friends?” they ask. But through Facebook I have managed to keep in contact with over forty people who live in other countries. We share our achievements and thoughts and stories in the same way people have always done. Facebook just made the world smaller, that’s all.
